Encompass Suggestions

How to Make a Suggestion

Do you have a suggestion to enhance Encompass? Contact your Encompass Liaison (see list below) who will fill out an Encompass Suggestion Form.  All suggestions will be carefully reviewed. Most suggestions are carried out, a small number are not implemented due to regional processes, future projects, or other factors. Suggestions are reviewed by your local Encompass Liaison along with WCHO Information Management staff. Suggestions for significant changes to the system may also be reviewed and prioritized by the Encompass Implementation Committee (EIC) and the Affiliation Executive Committee (AEC). You can also give feedback by completing the annual Encompass satisfaction survey. Check out the Encompass Projects list to see enhancements and new modules currently being worked on.

What type of suggestions are usually acted on fastest?
  • Bugs that prevent you from doing your job, such as a form that’s not functioning as designed or malfunctioning links or buttons
  • Region wide improvements are usually acted on faster than enhancements that would only benefit a small number of users/clients
  • Legal requirements
  • Those that offer significant improvement in client care
